Jun 4, 2024 | Press Releases

With the assistance of ACCSS partner, Schulenburg ISD, serving as the fiscal agent, the Alliance for College and Career Student Success (ACCSS) was awarded a $50,000 Summer Career and Technical education grant from the Texas Education Agency. These funds will support developing work-based learning opportunities and provide paid summer internships for students who attend or recently graduated from an ACCSS partner high school. Current ACCSS partners include Flatonia, Schulenburg, Weimar, Columbus, Fayetteville, and Moulton ISD’s. The alliance works to ensure that every student, regardless of background, has access to the opportunities needed to thrive in the pursuit of their educational and career aspirations by providing academic and career resources, guidance, and comprehensive support essential for students to attain post-secondary credits or workforce career credentials.
