Second Chance Emporium (SCE) recently donated $30,000 to the Fayette Community Foundation for the Alliance for College and Career Student Success (ACCSS) program at Blinn College. Monies donated will be used for the ACCSS dual credit scholarship program and/or workforce scholarships for Fayette County students in need at partner campuses of Schulenburg ISD, Flatonia ISD and Fayetteville ISD. Grant monies will also be used to support ACCSS operations and early recruitment events. The mission of the organization is to collaborate as a partnership with rural public-school districts and institutions of higher education to provide academic and career resources, guidance and sup- port necessary for students to complete a post-secondary or workforce career credential.
