Fayette Community Foundation Grants Local Nonprofits

The Fayette Community Foundation is a tax-exempt public charity formed in 2001 to help Fayette County and surrounding community members easily use their resources for lasting legacies or one-time gifts given to area nonprofits. For 21 years, the Foundation has proudly served the remarkable people whose gifts sustain and support the charities of the region while also serving the community as a whole by acting as a bridge between resources and the local nonprofits who work diligently to meet the changing needs of Fayette County.

The Fayette Community Foundation is proud to announce the 2022 recipients of the organization’s annual Grant Cycle, the Community Impact Grant. With a distribution of $6,500, these local agencies will be able to address programming needs for their clients and continue to provide social services directly to the members of Fayette County.

Fayette County Community Theatre was granted $1,000 to provide student art education and cultural experiences to the students of Fayette County. FCCT strives to bridge the art education gap in the area by providing opportunities to engage students in all aspects of the performing arts onstage and off.

Senior Connections was granted $1,000 to provide informational educational experiences to senior citizens in the local communities of Fayette County and surrounding areas with the goal to enhance social aspects of their lives and allow them to be as independent as possible.

Texas Ramp Project was granted $500 to provide materials for ramps, specifically treated lumber and hardware to create safe wheelchair access to residents of Fayette County.

Round Top Family Library was granted $500 to provide summer enrichment and programs for the youth in the community. The proposed project will provide the small city fun, safe, educational, and well supervised activities that involve several subjects plus includes time to visit the library and check out books.

ACCSS was granted $1,000 to provide dual-credit scholarships for comprehensive post-secondary support that will deliver the necessary preparation, access, persistence, and success to earn a college degree or career based credentials to be able to enter the workforce equipped for the future.
